Scott Delea

Scott Delea founded Party With Purpose in November of 2002 to make a difference in his community by producing great events for the benefit of local charities who serve those most in need. Since PWP's founding, the group has produced over 30 events and donated almost $200,000 to locally based charities such as the Boys and Girls Club, Jubilee Center, Police Athletic League, Clean Ocean Action, CASA, Jeremy's Heroes and others.

A successful business professional, Scott currently serves as CEO of Inflexion Interactive, an innovative digital marketing agency. Prior to Inflexion, Scott held senior executive roles at leading companies including DigitalGrit, an award winning marketing agency which was recognized as one of the "25 Best Place to Work In New Jersey" and "Fastest Growing Technology Company in NJ" by Deloitte.

In addition to his work with PWP, Scott serves at Executive Vice President of the Board of Trustees of the Hudson County Boys and Girls Club. He is a proud resident of Hoboken New Jersey and a graduate of Syracuse University.

Colleen Cingel

Colleen got involved with Party With Purpose five years ago when she heard about the 1st Annual 5K Run.  Colleen was a member of the Track & Field spring team at Villanova University and thought the group combined all of her interests:  running, charity, kids and fundraising.  She has been head of Corporate Sponsorship for the Annual 5K since its inception.

Colleen majored in Political Science, Sociology, and Criminal Justice at her alma mater and has worked for the Law Office of Frank P. Marciano for five years as office manager, real estate paralegal, and notary public.  The firm specializes in real estate, family, and business law.  Colleen also obtained her real estate license in New York City. 
 
The youngest of eight children, Colleen is originally from Cleveland, Ohio and currently lives in Manhattan.

Robert Cosgrove

Robert Cosgrove is a founding Board Member of Party with Purpose, and has strong ties to Hoboken having formerly lived and worked in Hoboken for many years.  Robert has since moved to the suburbs with his wife and three children, but remains committed to the work of PWP.  Robert is an attorney, and is a Partner at the law firm of Durkin & Durkin LLP.

Lisa A. DeCicco

Lisa is a native to New Jersey.  She is originally from Bridgewater, NJ; although, has resided in Bedminster for the last 10 years.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Management from Moravian College with a dual minor in Psychology and Criminal Justice. She also holds a Master of Business Administration with a major in Accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University.  Lisa became a Certified Project Manager through the Project Management Institute in 2005. 

Lisa currently works as a Cross Application Program Manager in Information Technology for UnitedHealth Group. Her current work is focusing on pilot programs for aggregated electronic Personal Health Records and streamlined administration of benefits for Medicaid and Medicare recipients.  Her previous work has been within the Pharmaceutical and Telecommunications industries where she has performed such roles as Senior Financial Analyst, Business/Systems Analyst, Project Controller, and Project Manager.

Lisa currently sits on the Board of Party with Purpose. She also has served in various other charitable capacities. She has been a very active member within the Team in Training Program through the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society where she exceeded funding raising goals by 250%. Additionally, Lisa has done various types of volunteerism activities with the Special Olympics, several Nursing Homes/Convalescent Centers and served as a Mentor/Tutor for economically disadvantaged children resident in Housing Authority Programs.

Jillian Dodge

Jillian supports Party With Purpose through managing public relations and marketing for their fundraising events.  She comes with a strong background in public relations in home entertainment, consumer products and consumer services accounts. 

She graduated from Lafayette College with a Bachelor of Arts in Business/Economics and French.  She also completed an Events and Entertainment Marketing Certificate from NYU.  Originally from Allendale, NJ, she currently resides in Hoboken, NJ.  Jillian enjoys dance classes, cooking, running and photography.

Zach Edelman

Zach Edelman is the Director of Business Development at Fairview Insurance Agency. He develops and implements marketing strategies in Property & Casualty, Workers Compensation, Professional and Business Insurances for both the public and private sector.  Zach places a special emphasis in on workplace safety and risk management principals to reduce workplace injuries.

 Additionally, Zach is involved in various philanthropic organizations. He is the Founding President of the Hudson County Jaycees an organization that focuses in on business and social networking, community outreach and personal development. He is also a Board Member of Party with Purpose and has taken the lead on our recently annual event in the fall Rock for Charity.

Jennifer Finnerty

Jennifer is a Vice President in Prudential’s International Investments Risk Management group.  She has responsibility for the overall management of operating risk in the business.  This role entails extensive involvement in global businesses including South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, India, Mexico, Brazil, Italy, Germany, and Luxembourg.  She also participates in several international Board of Directors and committees in Japan, Taiwan and Mexico.

Jennifer received a BS in Accounting from the University of Delaware and currently resides in Hoboken, New Jersey.  In 2009, Jennifer assumed the role of Race Director for PwP’s 5k run.

Jon Luick

Jon is a native of Wall Township, New Jersey. After graduating from Princeton University in 2001 with a degree in Politics and certificate in Political Economy, Jon joined the staff of United States Senator Jon S. Corzine (D-NJ).  Over the next four years, Jon rose from a legislative correspondent to the position of legislative assistant.  In that role, Jon served as the chief policy advisor to Senator Corzine in the areas of health care, labor and employment policy, taxes and trade.  During that time, Jon was also enrolled as an evening law student at the Georgetown University Law Center, from which he received his Juris Doctor degree in May 2007.  Jon then returned to the area to begin his legal career as an associate in the New York office of Herrick, Feinstein LLP.  At Herrick, he worked on general civil litigation until September 2008, when he left the firm to begin a yearlong clerkship with United States District Judge Stanley R. Chesler in the District of New Jersey, Newark Vicinage.

Jon recently completed his clerkship with Judge Chesler and has joined New Jersey Governor Jon S. Corzine's reelection campaign team.  Jon was, himself, twice elected as a Monmouth County Democratic Committeeman in New Jersey.  He has coached Pop Warner youth football in his hometown and competed in the 2008 and 2009 Nautica New York City Triathlons as a member of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training.  He currently splits his time between New York City, Hoboken and Manasquan, NJ.

John C. Mollard

John, a New Jersey native, makes Hudson County his home after having lived and worked in New York City for 20 years. He has a diverse background having worked as a  merchant seaman, teacher, actor, public-speaking coach & voice-over artist.  John has worked in Hoboken for the past 5 years and is presently employed by Landmark Title Agency. He holds two Master’s Degrees; one in Speech Communication & the other in Educational Theatre.  John feels privileged to serve, to contribute and to champion the youth through his involvement with Party with Purpose.

Derek Pines

Derek is a Trader working for Assent LLC, a direct access trading and technology firm with several locations throughout the country.  He trades a broad range of stocks and sectors for a proprietary account.

Derek helps Party With Purpose plan, organize, and manage major fundraising events.  He has volunteered as a D.A.R.E. role model and spends time helping out at the Hoboken Boys & Girls Club.  Derek is a graduate of Georgetown University with a BS in Finance.  He currently lives and works in Hoboken, NJ.

Brian Reighn

Brian is a Financial Analyst at PSEG, where he has worked for nine years in finance, management and engineering capacities.  Prior to working at PSEG he served over seven years in the US Air Force and NJ Air National Guard. He graduated from Rutgers University in 2001 with a BS degree in Industrial Engineering and from New York University in 2008 with a MBA degree in Finance. He resides in Hoboken, NJ.

Mary Valvanno

Mary has been involved with numerous charities over the years, including New York Cares, Jersey Cares, Children’s Specialized Hospital, The Red Cross, The Salvation Army and Big Brothers/Big Sisters.  In addition to her work with Party with Purpose, she is currently a Project Team Leader for New York Cares leading an IRS Volunteer Tax Preparation site in Harlem and a frequent volunteer on various projects with New York Cares and Jersey Cares in Manhattan and Hudson County.  Mary currently works as a consultant for Syms Corporation on the integration of their Filene’s Basement acquisition.  She received her B.S. from Wake Forest University and her M.B.A. in International Management from Thunderbird.  Having lived and worked in both Asia and Europe, Mary most enjoys traveling in her free time, along with outdoor activities, fitness, tennis and participating in athletic events for charity.  She currently resides in Hoboken.

Jaime Mehnert

Jaime Mehnert, a Director of Marketing for BlueWater Communications Group, brings a wealth of real world experience to her position, having run her own business assisting small businesses with their technology investments and e-marketing practices. Although Jaime is highly technical, she is also able to communicate specific objectives in terms of how they align with the overall business strategy. During her career, Jaime has assessed various organizations, recognizing their business needs, and implementing a plan using technology to improve the organization's productivity, all while reducing their overall expenditures.

Mehnert holds a BS degree in Business and Technology from Stevens Institute of Technology. Since attending Stevens, Jaime has remained active in the Hoboken community. She currently serves as the VP of Marketing for Party With Purpose, which affords her the opportunity to give back to those in need.

Rowena Sahulee

Rowena Sahulee is originally from Pasadena, California but has called New York home for over 20 years. She grew up outside of Rochester and attended the University at Buffalo. She received her Bachelor's in Communication with a concentration in Advertising and Public Relations. Upon graduation from college she took her career to New York City where she worked in the media and travel and tourism industries. Her expertise covers marketing strategy, brand development, collateral design and interactive technology.

Her last position in New York City was the Marketing Manager for Circle Line - Statue of Liberty Ferry. Circle Line was the official concessionaire to the Statue of Liberty as governed by the National Parks Service. Most recently last year she relocated to Houston, TX with her husband. In Texas she has formed her own consulting company, Out of the Box Thinking. She continues to volunteer design support with Party With Purpose from her remote location. You can take a New Yorker out of New York, but you can't take New York out of a New Yorker!

She has lived in Astoria, Queens, Westchester County and several downtown Manhattan neighborhoods before her new zipcode in Texas. The most important one in New York, the East Village, where she met her husband on the roof of their apartment building the night of the 2003 NYC Blackout. See story.

She is proud to be one of the founding board members with Party With Purpose and maintains strong ties with the organization.
