The 6th Annual PWP Hoboken 5k, Kids Events and After Party is TODAY, Tuesday, July 13th, RAIN OR SHINE!

We have over 1200+ pre-registered runners so you won't want to miss this race regardless of the weather! (and it's more fun to run and party in the rain anyway!). All entertainment, music and the beer garden will be open as planned! We expect the rain to stop this afternoon with only a slight chance of rain much later tonight. Be sure to come out and enjoy a great summer evening! On-site registration is available beginning at 5:30 pm. ARRIVE EARLY!

Kids Events: The Kids' Race at Pier A will be canceled. All other Kids Events will be moved to the Boys and Girls Club located at 123 Jefferson Street in Hoboken. Unfortunately due to a lack of space at the Club we will not be able to accommodate any additional kids other than those who belong to the Boys and Girls Club and Jubilee Center.

Party With Purpose takes it to the streets with our 6th annual 5K race along the majestic Hoboken waterfront. Last year’s event featured 1200 runners and ranks as one of the best races in/around New York City. We expect this year to be even bigger and more exciting!

The purpose of the race is to bring the entire community together including beginner and seasoned runners, families, and kids for an evening of fun, fitness and fundraising.

The evening begins at 3:30 pm with games for the kids, followed by the start of the Kids' Fun Run at 4:30 pm.

After the Kid's Fun Run, the kids will be treated to a party just for them including jugglers, games and tons of fun. Medals will be given to all race finishers.

The adults take center stage with their race starting at 7:00 pm. An awards ceremony will be followed by a special after-party.

This event raises funds for children related charities right here in our community.

The PWP 5k is now accepting TEAMS! Looking for a great way to get together with friends and run for a good cause? Create a team for work, your shore house, friends, relatives, neighbors...be creative! We have all the online tools available for you to invite and manage your team members! Team prizes will be given for most runners in a team, most funds raised, and best all-male and all-female times. Sign up a team here.

Early number/good bag pick up will be at Fleet Feet (604 Washington St. in Hoboken) on Saturday, July 10th and Sunday, July 11th at 12-5pm. Last year's race sold out so we encourage you to sign up early. This will also help guarantee a t-shirt and goody bag.

There will be a coat check on site located by the start/finish of the race. PWP is not responsible for lost/stolen items.

Don't forget to bring your license and cash for the After Party so that you can enjoy food and drinks along the New York City skyline! Live entertainment will be provided by DJ Incanno from Certified Entertainment and DaddyNoBux. You can also pre-purchase After Party bracelets and wine/beer tickets during the 5K registration on the day of the event.

Get sponsored! Obtain donations from friends and co-workers. Just ask people you know for a $1 (or more) pledge per K for $10 each. The more money we raise, the greater positive impact we can have to help the kids most in need! Hand in your donations the day of the race at the registration table.

Directions: The race begins and ends at Pier A in Hoboken on the corner of 1st Street and Frank Sinatra Drive. Parking is conveniently located on 2nd street between River and Hudson.
